Report, request, apply or appeal
If you are telling us about an issue for the first time, contact the relevant service so they have an opportunity to put it right before you contact our Customer Service or make a complaint.
These are some of the service requests, applications and decision routes that are often submitted as complaints.
Report an issue
You can:
- report a missed bin collection
- report a concern about an adult
- report a concern about a child
- report an emergency repair to your council home
- report a change in your circumstances for benefits
- report dog fouling
- report antisocial behaviour
- submit a noise complaint
Appeal or dispute a decision
You can:
- appeal a planning decision
- appeal a school admissions decision
- appeal a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN)
- appeal a Housing Benefit decision
- query or appeal a Council Tax decision
- appeal a Council Tax Reduction decision
- dispute a bin contamination decision
- request a review of a Blue Badge decision
Apply for or order something
You can:
- apply for assisted bin collections
- make a bid for a council or housing association home
- get help if you are homeless or at risk of homelessness
- order a replacement bin
- order more clear waste sacks
