If you're worried about someone knowing you have visited this website, go to cover your tracks – Women's Aid.

If you think a crime has been committed against somebody who cannot protect themselves from abuse you should call the police.

In emergency situations, call 999.
In non-emergency situations, call 101.

The police have a duty to investigate crime. For example, if you think that a person has been financially abused, the police will determine if theft has occurred. If there is evidence to support this they may pursue a criminal prosecution.

How we can help – Adult Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)

We have our own dedicated Adult MASH team of professionals from a range of organisations and agencies. They work together to protect adults who may be at risk of abuse, harm or neglect.

Adult MASH receives and processes all safeguarding referrals of adults at risk of harm and abuse.

We work with adults who have care and support needs and are experiencing or at risk of harm or abuse and are unable to keep themselves safe.

If you're worried about reporting a situation because you are not sure whether it is abuse, you should still contact the Safeguarding team who will be able to tell you whether it is a safeguarding matter.
