Pride in Place Impact Fund

We have received £1.5 million of funding from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government as part of a £5 billion Pride in Place Programme. This funding is being used to enable community groups to apply for grants to improve their community venue and/or space.

Required information

You will need to provide:

  • details of the organisation applying for grant
  • information about the type of organisation
  • proposal summary (maximum 300 words)
  • details on who will deliver the project and how it will be delivered
  • how will you ensure the project is inclusive and accessible to all residents
  • who will benefit from the project
  • how you will you ensure sustainability of the proposal beyond the funding term
  • deliverability information
  • budget information

Grants between £5,000 and £30,000 you will also need to provide:

  • the objective of the project and how it supports the Pride in Place Impact Fund objectives
  • details of what the funding will be used for
  • details of engagement with local residents, partners and community groups
  • why grant funding is needed to deliver the project
  • how many people you estimate will be impacted annually 
  • how you will you ensure sustainability of the proposal beyond the funding term
  • Pride in Place Impact Fund outputs 

Application checklist

For all grants, you will need to upload the following when you submit your application:

  • governing document 
  • bank account details 
  • evidence of organisations financial control procedures within the organisations, including payment processing protocols 
  • owner’s permission to undertake the project (if applicable) 
  • specifications of items to be purchased (if applicable) 
  • Building Control and/or planning permission evidence (if applicable)

Grants between £1,000 and £4,999

You will also need to upload the following when you submit your application:

  • one quote or cost estimate

Grants between £5,000 and £30,000

You will also need to upload the following when you submit your application:

  • provide the organisations financial statements including the profit and loss account and balance sheet
  • evidence of land/building ownership or lease agreements/ usage rights  
  • project plan / drawings if relevant  
  • three quotes or cost estimates
