Assessment of applications
The panel, including local MPs, will consider all applications against their alignment with the objectives of the programme and the ability to deliver the following:
- impact fund metrics for grants between £5,000 and £30,000
- how well the project addresses the problems outlined in the application
- the ability of the applicant to complete funded activities by March 2027
- value for money in relation to funding requested
- likely impact, including immediate and visible improvements that will be seen in relation to funding requested
- sustainability of the proposal beyond the funding term in relation to funding requested
- the location where proposed work will be undertaken
The level of information provided in the application should be proportionate to the size and complexity of the project proposed.
