Day opportunities
We support young people, adults or elderly people who need care and support due to mental health problems, learning or physical disabilities, to have fun, learn, and socialise, in a safe and friendly environment.
We support people to learn new skills, and live their life to the full. We offer a diverse and broad range of support for people, education, therapeutic, social learning and community participation.
We recognise that everyone learns and develops differently, so our service has the flexibility to adapt to people’s changing needs. As they develop new skills and become more confident, we support them to try new tasks or activities, to ensure they continue to learn. We also recognise that as people get older, they may have different needs, but this doesn’t prevent people from achieving new things and enjoying their day.
We have a number of accessible sites across the town, which are used as bases by our different groups. Regardless of where your main base is situated in the town, you will have the opportunity to experience activities and socialise with others from across the service.
We have sites across Luton, including:
- Chaul End Day Centre
- Colwell Court Day Centre
- Stopsley Community Choices
- Lea Manor Community Choices
- Lewsey Farm Community Choices
- High Town Community Choices
- Farley Hill Community Choices
