Luton offers a wide range of parks, green spaces and community activities, including five Green Flag Award winning parks, several district parks, 47 playgrounds and thirteen allotment sites managed by both the council and local associations, alongside volunteering opportunities in gardening, conservation and friends groups. 

Residents can take part in many outdoor sports across multiple recreation grounds, with clear booking options and published fees. Outdoor sports such as:

Allotment gardening, volunteering and local partner projects provide further ways for people to learn new skills, support nature and connect with their community.
