Adopting the Luton Local Plan
In 7 November 2017, we met and resolved to adopt the Luton Local Plan (2011 to 2031) with main modifications in accordance with:
- the provisions of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 (as amended)
- Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 (as amended) Regulations 17, 26 & 35
- The Environmental Assessment of Plans and Programmes Regulations 2004 regulation 16
The adopted Luton Local Pan (2011 to 2031) is a strategic document setting out the vision, objectives and spatial planning strategy for the whole of Luton Council’s area for the period up to 2031.
It comprises the following document and accompanying plans as set out below the follwoing documents.
This Local Plan 2011 to 2031 replaces the Luton Local Plan 2001 to 2011 and saved policies adopted in 2006.
