You normally qualify for a resident parking permit if you live within a residents permit zone (RPZ) and you keep and have full-time use of a:
- car
- van with a maximum weight not exceeding 3 tonnes/3000kg or 5.3 metres in length
- motorcycle
Who does not qualify
Not all properties within an RPZ will qualify.
Some may have been excluded when the scheme was originally designed. New build residential properties are generally excluded from pre-existing schemes.
