Antisocial behaviour

Antisocial behaviour is behaviour that causes harassment, alarm or distress to other people. It can include both criminal and non-criminal behaviour. You will find advice on how to report antisocial behaviour, information about Public Spaces Protection Orders/Gate Orders, and how we tackle antisocial behaviour.

Public Spaces Protection Orders / Gating Orders

A Public Spaces Protection Order is a way of restricting access to rights of way, to reduce persistent crime and anti-social behaviour, which is a priority for us.

Public Spaces Protection Order replaces a number of orders including Designated Public Place Order, Dog Control Orders and Gating Orders.

The test is – ‘Behaviour has to be likely to or has had a detrimental effect on the quality of life of those in the locality; be persistent, unreasonable and justifies the imposed notice’.

See below the current Public Spaces Protection Orders in place, as well as any Public Spaces Protection Order notice periods which are currently live.
