Licensing safeguarding and disability training course
The training is currently available to Luton licensed drivers. This is a great opportunity for training as in the future the course may be chargeable.
Licensing safe guarding and disability training is currently voluntary but will become mandatory prior to a licence being issued in the future. Training sessions are currently being run by our training provider, CYP First.
Attending the training
You will need to book a place on the training session by clicking on the links below on a time and date that suits you.
We aim to provide monthly training sessions and will update when these sessions have been booked.
- arrive 15 minutes ahead of your booked session, late arrivals will not be permitted to attend and you would need to book another session - the trainer will refuse entry to anyone later than five minutes
- you must have valid photo ID to present on the day, this could be driving licence or passport or Luton private hire and/or hackney carriage driver’s licence badge
After the session
You will be emailed your certificate after the training. Keep this in a safe place in order to evidence you have taken the training. You will also be emailed all of the reporting numbers you will need to report a safeguarding concern.
