High school transfer
Parents of pupils in year 6 must apply for a high school place by 31 October 2026.
You must apply for a school place even if:
- you have already made an earlier application direct to the school
- your preferred school is not in Luton
- your preferred school is a faith school, a foundation school, an academy or a free school
Applications received after 31 October will be treated as late. Late applications will be processed in May 2027.
If you apply late, your chances of getting a preferred school are much more limited.
Upper school places
Parents of pupils in year 8 who would like their child to attend an upper school from September 2027 must apply for a school place by 31 October 2026.
Applications received after 31 October 2026 will be treated as late.
