They:

  • provide government approved early years education all year round
  • offer sessions from two-and-a-half hours to four hours
  • provide learning and development activities suited to the child's age
  • provide many offer extended childcare in the form of longer sessions, which can cover the whole day

All staff are trained at pre-schools to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage. They also regularly inspected by Ofsted.

Free pre-school places

Depending on eligibility some children can get 15 hours of free early learning and childcare from the term after they turn nine months old, or two year old. From the term after their third birthday, all three and four year olds in Luton are entitled to 15 hours of free early learning and childcare.
