Advice if you might become homeless

There could be many reasons why you are homeless, or at risk of being homeless – for example you've been asked to leave your home, you are homeless after leaving prison or hospital, your mental health or the condition of your home.

Rough sleeping

Rough sleeping is the most visible form of homelessness. There are many reasons why someone may be sleeping rough. These include mental health issues, drug or alcohol misuse and economic difficulties. A disproportionate number o people sleeping rough have also been in care or in prison. The reality and effects rough sleeping has an on individual are dangerous and seriously detrimental.
