Energy grants and schemes

Luton Council has recently been successful in securing funding to tackle tenants living in cold and draughty rented properties by enforcing minimum energy efficiency standards (MEES) across the town.

The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is a government energy efficiency scheme its aim is to help reduce carbon emissions and tackle fuel poverty by improving the energy efficiency of homes occupied by low income, fuel poor and vulnerable households over the next four years.

To help us achieve our vision, we're looking to work closely with installer companies to help deliver energy efficiency improvements through the various grant funded programmes.
