Become a Shared Lives carer
Shared Lives is looking for everyday people who want to make an extraordinary difference. As a Shared Lives carer, you welcome an adult who needs support into your home and your daily life. This might be a young adult, an older person, or someone with a learning disability, physical disability or mental health needs.
Shared Lives is about living together, sharing everyday routines, and helping someone feel part of family and community life. It helps people grow in confidence, become more independent, and feel valued and included.
We carefully match carers with people who share similar interests and lifestyles, and we support you every step of the way.
You do not need formal qualifications. Full training and support are provided. We are simply looking for people who can offer a safe, welcoming, and caring home.
