Ways to pay your Council Tax bill
There are many ways to pay your Council Tax but the easiest way is to set up a Direct Debit or pay online.
Make a bank payment
Before making the payment make sure you:
- have your Council Tax reference
- make your payment on or before the due date – your instalments by default are due on the first of each month (unless you’ve specifically requested a different day)
Make a one off payment or set up a standing order through your bank.
You must quote your Council Tax reference number when making a payment.
