Section 45 of the Data Protection Act 2018 and Article 15 of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) give individuals rights of access to their personal records that we hold.
These requests are commonly referred to subject access requests (SARs). They are also known as data subject access requests (DSARs).
Subject access is a fundamental right for individuals. It is also an opportunity for us to provide excellent customer service by:
- responding to SARs efficiently and transparently
- maximising the quality of the personal information we hold
This policy explains how we will fulfil our obligations under the legislation.
