The intention of the education and learning reset is to break down our aspirations into measurable steps with tangible outcomes and impact measures that we can quantify and qualify as we make the journey towards 2040.
We have purposely focused our plans to run for the period of three years, from 2024 to 2027. This will allow us to review, recalibrate, and reset the three-year plans for 2027 to 2030 and subsequently those for 2030 to 2033, building on what has been achieved.
We recognise that there are many things we need to do and do not under-estimate the challenge. Whilst maintaining momentum towards our Luton 2040 goals, we also recognise that national developments and new ideas which will help further support our plans, have yet to be determined and which are currently unsighted or have been considered.
By reviewing progress at regular points, this will help us in building the flexibility to respond to national policy changes.
