There are various council committees, panels and boards. Regular meetings take place throughout the year. 

The Executive

The Executive is the main decision-making body. It deals with a range of functions across our activities and services.  

Each member of the Executive has a portfolio of work.

The Executive page includes:

  • meeting dates and papers
  • meeting minutes
  • the names of the committee members

Executive general exception notices

Sometimes we publish general exception notices covering the Executive and Executive meetings.

Go to public documents and select a year under the heading 'Executive general exception notices'.

Full Council

Full Council meetings:

  • take place 7 times a year
  • are attended by all elected members
  • are open to the public
  • are webcast live
  • usually start at 6pm

The Full Council page includes:

  • meeting dates and papers
  • meeting minutes
  • the names of the committee members
