Luton registration service fees

Fees for ceremonies, certificates, venue fees and registrar fees.

Ceremonies to be held in Luton Register Office and Georgian Room need to be paid in full at the time of booking. A non-refundable deposit of £50 will be required to provisionally book an approved venue.

Marriage and civil partnership certificate fees are in addition to the ceremony fees and cost £12.50 each. You can buy as many copies of the certificate as you require at a cost of £12.50 per copy.

Notice costs

  • Notice of marriage/civil partnership: £42 each, to be paid at time of booking appointment
  • Notice of marriage/civil partnership if either of you are from outside the UK*: £57 each, to be paid at time of booking appointment

* If either of you are from outside the UK, you:

  • need a visa to live in the UK
  • must not be in the UK with either:
    • a marriage or civil partnership visitor visa
    • a family visa

Consideration of a divorce

  • Consideration by Superintendent Registrar of a divorce obtained outside of the British Isles: £55
  • Consideration by the Registrar General of a divorce obtained outside of the British Isles: £83

Register Office ceremony fees

  • Register Office ceremony - available Thursdays at 10am only: £56 (to be paid at time of booking)
  • The Georgian Room, Monday to Friday: £230 (payable in advance)
  • The Georgian Room, Saturday: £325 (payable in advance)
  • The Georgian Room, Sunday or bank holiday: £380 (payable in advance)

Registrar's fees to attend an approved venue

£50 non-refundable deposit required.

  • Monday to Friday: £510
