Specialist Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) resourced provision at Wigmore Primary School

The proposal is to open a SEND resourced provision for pupils with social, emotional and mental health special needs, on the mainstream school site at Wigmore Primary School for eight pupils initially, with a possibility of increasing to sixteen children in the future.

These places are exclusively for pupils whose Education Health and Care Plans (EHCP) identify that a specialist  SEMH resourced provision, attached to a mainstream school, is best able to meet their needs.

The provision will provide a highly structured and personalised adapted curriculum, with specialist supported integration into mainstream activities and lessons when pupils are academically, socially and emotionally ready.
