Pupils due to transfer to junior school in September 2026

For parents of pupils in year 2 who would like their child to transfer to a junior school from September 2026 must apply for a junior school place.

When to apply

The closing date for parents to apply for a junior school place for their child has now passed. However, you can still apply for a junior school place for your child.

For late applications received up to 7 May 2026 , decisions will be sent to parents on 29 May 2026 .

Applications received after 7 May 2026 will be processed in due course and the Admissions Team will aim to advise parents in writing of the outcome before September 2026.

If you are submitting the form to change your preference(s) and we are able to allocate one of the schools you have stated on your form, the school your child was originally allocated will immediately be withdrawn and re-allocated to another child.

You must apply for a school place even if:

  • you've already made an earlier application direct to the school
  • your preferred school is not in Luton
  • your preferred school is a faith school, a foundation school, an academy or a free school
  • your child is attending the linked infant school

If you specify Wenlock CofE Academy as a preference

You must also complete the school’s supplementary form and upload the completed supplementary to your application.

If you need a copy of the Wenlock CofE Academy supplementary form, then contact us
