Grants are available for both renters, flat owners and landlords.
Grants for renters and flat owners
A home charge point allows you to take advantage of cheaper and more convenient EV charging.
If you’re a renter or flat owner with access to off-street parking, you might be eligible for the government’s Electric Vehicle Chargepoint Grant, which helps cover the cost of installation.

If you're a landlord of a residential or commercial property with off-street parking, you may be eligible for government grants to install EV charge points and associated infrastructure.

Suggest a charge point
If you have access to off-street parking, the recommended option is to install your own home charge point. The Energy Saving Trust provides guidance and information on charging an EV including home charging.
