After you apply for a Section 50 street works licence
After we receive your form, we will process your application.
The length of your proposed works determines how long it takes to process your application.

If a street needs to be closed, you will have to apply for a temporary traffic regulation order. This application will take 12 weeks to process.
You cannot start any works before a licence has been granted and issued to the licence holder. It is a criminal offence if section 51(1) of the NRSWA 1991 is breached.
