Luton Enterprise Week returns to champion enterprise, innovation and opportunity

Following the success of the town’s first Enterprise Week last year, this year’s expanded five-day programme will bring together entrepreneurs, businesses, young people, educators and industry experts to celebrate enterprise, innovation and economic growth across Luton.

This exciting week will provide opportunities to gain practical advice from experts, build valuable connections and access support for those looking to start, grow or develop a business.

The programme includes:

• Business growth sessions including Meet the Buyer, access to finance, sales and AI workshops

• Interactive workshops covering social enterprise and business development 

• Sector-focused sessions on construction, creative industries, advanced manufacturing and professional services

• A market stall event for businesses and entrepreneurs to showcase their products and ideas 

• Networking events connecting entrepreneurs, businesses, potential founders and industry professionals

• Women in Enterprise and future talent sessions, including inspirational speakers and workshops for young people

Councillor Basit Mahmood, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Inclusive Growth, said: “With Luton being one of the top five places in the UK to start a business, the town has an incredible entrepreneurial spirit and Enterprise Week is about creating opportunities for that ambition to grow. 

“This is also a transformative moment for our town, with more than £5bn of investment planned or already underway. Enterprise Week is also an important part of delivering our Economic Growth Strategy, helping local businesses and entrepreneurs to grow and make the most of the investment coming to Luton. 

“Whether you are thinking about starting a business, looking to grow an existing one or wanting to make new connections, I encourage everyone to get involved.”

The programme is being delivered with support from partners including Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce, The Culture Trust, the University of Bedfordshire, Wenta and a range of local businesses, venues and business support organisations.
