Leagrave Park is one of Luton’s Green Flag Award parks and offers a mix of open green spaces, sports facilities, wildlife areas and historic features for visitors to enjoy.
The park provides large grassy areas that are ideal for picnics, gentle walks and quiet moments of relaxation. Leagrave Park includes facilities for football, cricket, tennis and basketball, making it suitable for people with different levels of interest and ability. Families can also make use of the dedicated children’s play area.
The park is home to the source of the River Lea, marking the beginning of its 83‑kilometre journey to the River Thames and the site of the London 2012 Olympic Stadium.
