Start your work experience journey with us
Luton Council is committed to helping young people in Luton gain valuable experience, explore different careers and learn more about the world of work.
If you live in Luton or attend a Luton school, you can apply for one of our Year 10 work experience opportunities.
Finding a placement
Each council service will advertise its own work experience dates and available placements. Places are limited, and adverts will close once all places have been filled.
Applying does not guarantee you a placement. We’ll let you know if your application has been successful.
Make your application stand out
Before you apply, explore our website and learn about the different work we do across Luton. Tell us what interests you and why you would like to gain experience in that area.
We welcome applications from all students, including those with SEND. Let us know about any support you may need so we can help you get the most from your experience.
