If you see or experience a crime, your safety comes first. Do not take any action that could put you or someone else in danger. There are different ways to report a crime and to get support if you’ve been affected.
Call 999 if a crime is happening now, someone is in immediate danger, a suspect is nearby, or violence is being used or threatened. When you call 999, the operator can send police, fire, or ambulance services to help.
If the situation is not urgent but you need police help, call 101 or report a crime online. You can also contact your local Safer Neighbourhood Team if you have ongoing concerns in your area.
