Simpler recycling for households

Simpler recycling is a national government scheme to make recycling easier and increase the amount of waste that is recycled.

This scheme aims to standardise what can be recycled across England, whether at home, work or school. The changes are being introduced in phases over the coming years.

The changes will affect you, whether you live in a house or a flat.

The initial roll-out applies to kerbside households only
