What is Crisis and Resilience Fund
In December 2025, the UK government announced a new fund called the Crisis and Resilience Fund. This replaces the Household Support Fund which ended in March 2026.
The scheme provides short term emergency financial support to help you deal with an unexpected financial crisis and will connect you with services that can help you become more financially secure over time.
You can apply for a Crisis Payment or a Housing Payment. Applications to the fund will not affect your benefit status.
This grant is funded by the UK Government.
