Let’s talk about money - stop and give us your thoughts

Sub heading

We are continually working to get the best value for money out of our finances. This year is no exception. In the past few years we’ve already found £113m of savings. Nevertheless over the next five years we still have to find a further £27.3m, including £11.4m in 19-20 alone.

We would like to invite members of the public to join us to share their views on the way the council uses its financial resources for the benefit of everyone in the town. Councillors and officers will be on hand to respond to questions and chat over your ideas, concerns and comments. We would also like to hear what your priorities are for the future.

Your comments are important as we continue to shape the way we use your money to benefit the people of our town. After you have spoken with us there will be an opportunity to complete a brief questionnaire. These responses and everything that is discussed will help us as we consider your priorities in subsequent years.

Further information can be found in the budget finance.

If you are unable to attend either of these dates please complete the questionnaire which can be found at lets talk budget.
