Day care centres

There are a number of day centres across Luton which provide a range of services.

Our day centres can provide a wide range of support for people with different care needs. At present we have 7 different day centres that support:
  • people over 65
  • people with dementia
  • adults with physical disabilities
Our centres provide both group and individual activities and many provide a hot meal at lunchtime.
Our day centres reflect Luton’s cultural diversity. We have an African Caribbean centre, and another for people from a South Asian heritage. Staff at these centres speak a variety of languages and dialects and food is tailored to meet cultural and religious needs.

If you are an adult with learning disabilities, there is a different range of day opportunities just for you. Follow this link to visit the learning disabilities day services page.

How can I attend a day centre?

To attend a day care centre you must be referred by us. This can be done if you are eligible for social care and after you have had an assessment of care needs with us. During your assessment we will work with you to identify if attending a day centre is the right care service for you.
To request an assessment of care needs, contact us on the number below.
