Childcare needs survey

We’re conducting a survey as part of a Childcare Sufficiency Assessment. This will help us to identify the supply and demand of childcare services, and the extent to which parents’ needs are being met across the borough.
If you want to have your say, and to inform us of your childcare needs, please complete the survey before 10 November 2017.
Find childcare in Luton and learn how to claim 15 hours free childcare or early learning.

There are various childcare options available in Luton for parents who wish to return to work or education, or who wish to provide their child with a social environment to meet other children.

All childcare places are registered with Ofsted (unless otherwise stated) and are regularly inspected.

Nurseries, pre schools, day nurseries or children’s centres are collectively referred to as Childcare Settings. They all follow Foundation Stage Curriculum which is a national framework to support children in their earliest years.

Childminders provide care for children in a home environment and also follow the Foundation Stage Curriculum.
