It’s that time of year again when, together with the Mall, we begin planning for Christmas. So we are encouraging all local businesses to support this year’s Lighting up Luton event on Sunday 18 November.
Thousands of people enjoyed a wonderful day out and packed the streets of Luton and The Mall for last year’s fun, leading up to the magical evening ceremony for switching on the Christmas lights, and providing great opportunities for businesses in the area.
A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available ranging from stands to promotional acknowledgements, and the chance to have a strong presence at the event itself.
Cllr Sian Timoney, Executive Member for Regeneration, said: “Lighting up Luton has traditionally been a very successful and happy family event for the town, attracting thousands of shoppers and visitors.
“It’s a superb opportunity for local businesses to raise their profile by supporting such an exciting event.
We offer a variety of packages to cater for any size of organisation, and welcome the opportunity to talk with businesses.”
We are already working in partnership with The Mall which will be hosting entertainment in the shopping centre.
