Stopsley High School hosted a group of touring teenage cricketers from Mumbai last Friday (14 September) as part of a cricket tour by students from Hansraj Morarji School.
The aim of the tour was to allow the nine Mumbai students to spend some time with Luton children of the same age and to chat about their respective lives.
The group had a tour of the school, talked about subjects that they studied and how lessons were similar and different. The staff swapped email addresses so they can continue to build on their new friendships.
Karen Johns, Headteacher of Stopsley High, also exchanged letters and gifts with Mr Rajguru, Hansraj Morarji School's Sports Director.
Karen Johns said: "It was a real joy to meet this group of people from Mumbai, welcome them into our school and see how much the young people of the world have in common."
