Do you know somebody who lives in Luton who helped to make this year’s Olympic and Paralympic Games such successes by volunteering as a Games Maker? If so, we would like you to get in touch.
We would like to celebrate the efforts made by Luton’s Games Makers, who helped to ensure that a spectacular summer of sport ran smoothly.
Before planning anything, it is vital that the number of people involved from the town is known for logistical reasons.
Cllr Sheila Roden, Portfolio Holder for social justice and community development service, said: “This year’s Olympic and Paralympic Games were a phenomenal success, largely in part because of the huge efforts made by those who volunteered.
“We would really like to honour the efforts that the Games Makers from Luton put in, so I would encourage everyone who knows a Games Maker, or who was one themselves, to get in touch.”
If you know a Games Maker or were one yourself, contact Adam Divney before 6 November on
