CC Luton cycle club
Primarily a road racing club (although we do cover other aspects of cycle racing such as mountain biking), our members tend to be occupied with riding races during the summer rather than organising events.

CCLuton also meet every Saturday and Sunday at 09:30 at the entrance to the allotments at the top of Barton Cutting (direction Streatley). We also have cafe stops, the overall distances vary from 40 to 60 miles.

Meet for a ride on Sundays, commencing at 9.30 am from either Barton Library or Houghton Regis Church. The riders rendezvous for elevenses at a cafe/garden centre, usually 15 to 25 miles away from the starting point and return to South Bedfordshire between 1 and 2 pm.

The club members also meet every Tuesday evening at Silsoe village from 7.30pm mainly for a chat and cup of tea. In winter there may be film shows, quiz evenings, whilst in the summer the series of time trials is the focal point of the evening.

We also have time trial races over 7-25 miles during spring and summer months and are always looking for new members from all ages, backgrounds and abilities. We are now accredited as a Clubmark Club and registered with Team Beds and Luton.

Tri Force Triathlon Club

The objective is for Tri-Force to provide the framework for Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire multi-sports athletes, typically those in running and cycling clubs who want to compete in sports such as triathlon, duathlon, and adventure racing.

The club is very informal and the emphasis is on fun whilst staying (or getting) fit. You can decide how hard and how often you want to train, and you will find many experienced club members willing to help with advice and suggestions. Don't be put off if you're not very good at one of the sports as it's never too late to learn.
