All persons dealing with or involved in scrap metal must be licensed under the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 1964. To do so, please contact us.

All persons who carry on the business of a scrap metal dealer must register with the local authority.

A copy of the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 1964 can be inspected at the council offices where you may also obtain an application form and further help or advice.
