Luton Borough Council currently offers its citizens a variety of options for payment, including: On-line - Click here to make a payment now but see below for some notes on what payments we can accept. Via our automated telephone payment system - simply telephone 01582 54 73 73, but remember to have your bill and credit card in front of you when you call. Using our payment kiosk, situated in the Cashiers' office in the Town Hall - the town hall is open from 8am to 7pm Monday to Friday.

*Please note - Our online and automated telephone payment systems are not available between 17:15 and 17:45hrs Monday to Friday.  All payments taken after 17:45hrs are processed the next working day.

We can accept payments for:

• Council tax
• National Non Domestic rates (Business Rates)
• Council tenant rents
• Housing benefit overpayment invoices
• Mortgage payments
• Housing rent
• Homeless accommodation
• Homeless Deposits Scheme (from 30th June 2008)
• LMS music tuition fees
• Other invoices (including Social Services) (on the drop-down menu for Fund, please select Credit Income)
  

We can accept payment by the following cards:

• Electron
• Mastercard
• Solo
• Visa credit cards
• Delta (including Visa debit cards)
• UK Maestro (including Switch cards)

We do not accept American Express or Diners Card payments

We will manage all stored personal and senstitive information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 requirements.  We will not share data other than as previously notified at the point of collection.
