| Information | Are you caring for a relative with Dementia? Would you like to know more about the condition of the person you are caring for and receive information to enable you to find and access help and support when you need it? Come along to these Information Sessions led by Dr Schoeman, Consultant Psychiatrist specialising in Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia. Education can help us to have a better understanding of the nature of these conditions. We can learn how to recognise the existing skills of people with dementia whilst respecting their dignity. The sessions will cover such topics as:- * About the condition * Ways in which you can help the person you care for * Equipment and services to help you care * Ways in which the law can protect you and the person you care for * Ways in which you can find help to look after your own health and well being.
