This funding has also been used to employ 5 play rangers for Luton through Children’s Links a national charity. The Play Rangers will play a key role in consulting with the children/young people as to any gaps in the current play provision, encouraging ownership and safe/appropriate use of the facilities and promoting community cohesion.
Play Rangers aim not only to build links with the children/young people and residents of the area but also develop relationships with local professionals such as the children's centre, special and main stream schools and local sports clubs. For further information on the Play Rangers please contact Rachel Ansbro on 07554 450479, email Rachel.Ansbro@childrenslinks.org.uk
