What grass won't the council cut?
We do not cut the grass that is:

  • Privately owned
  • Properties/estates owned by bodies other than the council

What will the council cut?
We will cut the grass on all council owned land, ie:

  • Highways
  • Verges
  • Public open space
  • Schools
  • Parks
  • Town centres
  • Memorial gardens

How often do you cut the grass?
The council cuts the grass it owns 12 times per year on highway verges and public open spaces and 15 times in district and neighbourhood parks between March and November.
