Luton fireworks spectacular
A traditional bonfire event held on the Saturday closest to 5 November each year in Pope's Meadow, a short walk from the town centre. Entrance is free

Filmstock
Filmstock International Festival is one of the fastest growing film festivals in the UK. It fuses the joy of movie going with the art of film making in one simultaneous experience.

Festival of transport
Held annually in June, in Stockwood Park. Over 1,000 examples of 20th century transport, including vintage and classic cars, are on display.

Classical music
Throughout the year Luton hosts classical concerts. The Britten Sinfonia Orchestra, widely regarded as one of the UK's most energetic and innovative groups, features some of the brightest and most talented young musicians in the country.
