Showing toddlers that books are fun!
Has your toddler had their free brightly coloured book bag?
There are free book packs for every child to inspire, stimulate and create a love of reading that will give them a flying start in life.
If your child is between 12 and 35 months old you can collect your Bookstart+ bag from your local library, all you need is your child's health record book. The bag contains two books, crayons, colouring book, wall friezes and information for parents.
Don't forget to introduce a wide range of books to your child. Children are never too young to join the library, and they love to have their own library card. Follow the link for more information on what is available in the Children's Library.
There's a wonderful range of board books and picture books to choose from at all libraries.
