Costs

We can only offer a free events service if you require nothing from us in the way of pitch markings, equipment hire, etc, and we suffer no loss of income as a result of your event, eg cancelled sports matches etc (although if your event is commercial we will charge a hire fee). These costs can often be reduced by using volunteers to help assist with the event eg litter picking, picking up and returning equipment etc.   

Please note that work undertaken by the Council for events will be charged at overtime rates, to avoid displacing other urgent day-to-day work.
