I want a council home

If you want to be put on the register for a council home you will need to either phone 01582 51 03 70 or call at the Town Hall’s customer service centre for an appointment.

Should you live a long way away from Luton we can arrange for a form to be sent to you.

We will tell you what information you need to bring when you come for your interview.

At the interview we will discuss all your housing options. This might include the private rental sector.

At the same time we can conduct an assessment to see what position you might have on the housing register. You can then decide whether you want to continue with your application.

If you decide you do want to proceed we can give you a reference number and PIN number which will allow you to register you interest on our choice based lettings scheme.
