There are three ways in which this scheme operates;
- HomeBuy, where a loan of up to £50,000 of the value is provided to assist you in buying a house on the open market;
- Shared Equity, where typically you will take out a mortgage for 50% of the cost of a new build property from a Housing Association and buy back the rest of the cost over time;
- Intermediate Rent where you rent a property for a price below the full market rate.
