Luton Children & Young People's Plan

The current Children & Young People’s Plan for Luton runs from 2006/09. We are currently consulting on a new plan for 2010/11.

The Children Act 2004 places a duty on all top tier local authorities to cooperate with partner agencies in providing, planning and developing services, and to publish a Children and Young People’s Plan in consultation with communities and in particular with children and young people.

Luton's Children and Young People’s Strategic Board consulted with children and young people and staff in all agencies (including private and voluntary organisations) who provide services to children and young people in order to produce this plan.
