Polling card
Voting is an important way of having your say on the issues you care about. By voting you are also deciding who will take decisions on issues affecting your everyday life.

Phonelines are open from 7am - 10pm on any election day. If you are unsure about where to vote please call 01582 51 03 80

Download the list of polling stations at the bottom of this page.

If you are eligible to vote you will receive a poll card telling you the date of the election, where your polling station is and the time when you can go and vote.

Poll cards are delivered up to one month before an election. Each member of your household who is eligible to vote should receive a poll card informing them of the date of the election, where their polling station is and the hours of poll. You do not need to take the poll card with you to be able to vote.

Postal voters receive a different letter reminding them that they have to vote by post.

The hours of poll for all elections are 7am to 10pm.

If you have not registered then you cannot exercise your democratic right to vote in any election. Remember, no registration, no vote.

All you need to do is complete the voter registration form, available to download below. Someone else cannot do it for you.
