The year 2026 was chosen as it was the date when a child born at the time the strategy was prepared, would be 18 years old. We asked questions such as – what life chances would we like them to have? What opportunities do we want to create for them over the next 18 years?
But this strategy is not only focused on young people – we want Luton to be a town where all residents, regardless of age, enjoy a good quality of life.
